8 Women (2002)
Marceau was not killed — he was still alive and watched and listened to the women arguing and accusing each other the entire time from his bedroom. It was all setup by him and his younger daughter Catherine (Ludivine Sagnier), as a farce. After finding out the truth about the 8 women he lived with, he killed himself; this time it was not staged or a joke.
