Army of Darkness (1993)
The American and British versions of the film have different endings. In the U.S., Ash returns to the present and continues to fight the evil dead (he’s last seen fighting a beast in a department store). In the U.K., Ash swallows a drink that puts him to sleep for many years, only to awaken as the sole survivor of a post-apocalyptic world.
