The Notorious Bettie Page (2005)
Bettie’s foray into bondage pinups and fetish movies triggers a Senate “smut” investigation. Irving Klaw’s (Chris Bauer) operation is shut down, and last we see of Paula (Lili Taylor), she’s burning Bettie’s photos and films, as ordered.
Bettie (Gretchen Mol) wanders into a church and is “saved.” Years later, Bettie is in a park, preaching to passerby from the Bible. A man recognizes her, and they chat; he says her earlier work is nothing compared to what’s available today.
Bettie has no regrets about her past; she tells the man that Adam and Eve were naked, too — but when they sinned, they wore clothes.
